About Institute
Government Polytechnic Sitapur is located at Vill-Sarayjeet Sadar, Block‑Aliya, Town‑Kachnaar, Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh.
The institute was founded under the aegis of the Uttar Pradesh Technical Education Department.
While some sources suggest it began operations around 2016, the official portal highlights it as one of the state’s longstanding polytechnics, suggesting a longer history of serving technical education in the region.
Currently, at Government Polytechnic Sitapur we are offering 3 main courses namely Mechanical (Prod) Engineering, Textile Technology, Carpet Technology. Performance of students at our college has been pretty good.

Our mission is to impart quality education to achieve excellence in teaching learning and research and to provide skill oriented training to students to meet the need of the industry and society.
To promote indigenous technology to replace the imported technology with the aim to implement “make in India” motto in collaboration with industry institute introduction and partnership.

At our college we thrive to provide highest quality education possible for our students. I believe that education is a journey that never ends. The endeavor is to frame an individual who can accommodate into any culture of this global village. The institution’s philosophy is founded on the belief that every individual has his/her own trajectory of learning. And hence we try to provide education to students without tinkering too much with individuals own way of cognitive approach.
